AleXa : Return in “Villain” MV

Well-known for her trademark powerful performances and unique concepts, power rookie AleXa is back to showcase her stunning talents once more with the unveiling of “Villain”, the pre-release single of her upcoming 2nd mini-album.

AleXa unveiled the pre-release single, “Villain”, to her upcoming mini-album DECOHERENCE. The new track highlights AleXa’s edgy and artistic sides while combining the elements of urban sounds and EDM trap.

The track was composed by 8PEX and Megan Lee, whose track record spans from EXO to Lee Hi. Hwang Sung Jin, the main producer of RBW Entertainment meanwhile, contributed to the Korean lyrics.

The MV for “Villain” further highlights her artistic side with an irresistible combo of her amazing acting skills as a crazy villain and perfectly choreographed dance breaks that add a dynamic edge to the MV directed by Zanybros.

As a continuation of the cinematic universe from her prior releases, the MV for “Villain” shows the continuation of AleXa’s battle against a mysterious foe. Furthermore, the music video serves as a hint to the storyline that will be featured in her upcoming album.

AleXa is the first artist to debut under Zanybros, one of Korea’s largest production houses that have produced more than 1,300 MVs for top artists like BTS, EXO, MAMAMOO, and more. She’s also signed with ICM Partners, home to stars like Nicki Minaj and Khalid.

Although she already has a long list of amazing accomplishments including breaking into the Top 10 of Billboard‘s World Digital Song Sales chart in the first week of Bomb‘s release and making her highly-successful global debut with Do Or Die, she’s excited to share new kinds of duality through her 2nd mini-album and pre-release single.

She will be unveiling her debut performance of “Villain” during her first live concert CTRL + AleXA [ENTER] the AleXa Universe. Her concert, which will utilize everything from augmented reality to production technology to deliver a unique experience to her audience, will be held on July 18 in Korea.
